For the Remote project, I utilized Maya for modeling and animation, Substance Painter for texturing, and Arnold for rendering.
Animating a rigged character in Maya posed initial challenges as it was my first attempt at creating a 3D short film. Overcoming these hurdles involved learning and implementing new techniques, and I sought guidance from tutorials and my professor to enhance my animation skills.
In crafting the storyboard, careful attention was given to each shot, considering the shift from 2D to 3D animation. The process presented unique challenges, especially in terms of timing. Ensuring a seamless flow between scenes and maintaining precise timing required careful planning and adjustment to the differences in 3D animation.
