Bonnie is my humanoid character inspired by Harajuku fashion. Rigged in Maya, including custom facial features and animated bunny ears. Textured in Substance Painter and rendered with Arnold. She's also used for an upcoming short animation project with my animation club.
Crafting Bonnie's rig posed a shift towards a more stylized, cartoony aesthetic, aiming for a playful and childlike charm. Initially challenging in animation, I adapted to the distinct style over time. Ensuring the skeleton seamlessly fit Bonnie's unique form was a key hurdle, addressed through frequent use of the paint weights tool.
